Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. California Home Center holds California contractor’s license #1090079 and carries full insurance. You can verify the license with the CSLB, and our verified business profiles on Google, Houzz, Yelp, BuildZoom and Porch are all linked from this page.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
We do. For work that requires permits — additions, ADUs, structural changes, most electrical and plumbing relocations — we prepare the drawings, pull the permits and meet the inspectors. You don’t need to visit a city counter.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?
For most single-room projects, yes. We seal off the work area, protect floors and walkways, and clean the site at the end of each day. For whole-home remodels or major additions we’ll tell you upfront which weeks are realistically liveable so you can plan around them.
Do you work with insurance companies on water or fire damage?
Yes — it’s one of the main reasons homeowners call us. We document the damage, communicate directly with your adjuster, and because we’re a licensed general contractor we also handle the rebuild. One company from the emergency call through to the finished room.
How soon can you start?
Emergency restoration is dispatched 24/7. For planned remodels, the start date depends on design approval and permitting — we’ll give you a realistic date at the quote stage rather than an optimistic one we can’t hold.
